What will your work be like?

The cheef prepares various types of dishes, cakes, drinks and desserts using tools, machines and gastronomic devices. An independent chef has the knowledge and experience that allows him to run a restaurant kitchen and to manage other employees. He can cook a variety of dishes, representations of the world's main culinary trends. Most often he specializes in the cuisine of a given country or region

Position requirements

collection of raw materials and semi-finished products for culinary production;
protection against deterioration of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products;
evaluation of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products and their proper management;
pre-treatment of raw materials (manual, mechanical, thermal);
gastronomic cutting of meat of various animals;
making using various techniques and methods - in accordance with raw material standards - various assortments of dishes made of vegetables, fruit and mushrooms, milk and preserves, eggs, meat of slaughter animals and processed meat, venison, poultry, fish and dishes made of offal, semi-meat and vegetarian dishes, delicatessen;
the use of tools, machines and devices in the preparation of food and drinks and the ongoing maintenance of these devices;
finishing, portioning, decorating and aesthetic display of culinary products;
preparation of dishes of regional, Polish and other nations as well as basic dishes for various diets;
preparation of food, drinks and desserts for occasional parties;
maintaining cleanliness at the workplace on an ongoing basis (washing, steaming, drying and polishing dishes and kitchen equipment), as well as organizing production rooms after work;
knowledge of English or Polish will be an advantage
applicants should have a valid passport for at least 2 years, age up to 25 - 60 years
